Rice Coaches Radio Shows | YSR 1560-AM
HOUSTON, Texas - The fifth season of Rice University head football coach David Bailiff's one-hour radio show kicks off the 2014 edition on Monday, Aug. 25 from Baker St. Pub and Grill on 5100 Morningside in the nearby Rice Village. The show once again airs on Yahoo Sports Radio 1560.
The show which, will air live from 7-8 p.m. CT, is hosted by play-by-play voice J.P. Heath in his third year. Monday's show will preview the season opener against Notre Dame and will include interviews with members of the 2014 squad as well as former Owl greats.
Weekly segments throughout the campaign will include interviews with current players, past Rice greats, special features and questions from Owls fans in attendance.
Fans outside the Houston market can also listen to the show online at YSR1560.com.
Now beginning its fourth year as the Owls' radio broadcast home, Yahoo Sports Radio 1560 features Rice football and men's basketball game broadcasts in addition to Rice coaches shows with Bailiff, men's basketball coach Mike Rhoades and hall of fame baseball coach Wayne Graham. Additional Rice head coaches will also make periodic appearances on the show.
