The Rice Owls called off plans to hold their second scrimmage of their 2009 fall training camp on Friday after heavy thunderstorms pelted the greater Houston area early Friday evening.

The Owls have re-scheduled the scrimmage for 9 a.m. on Saturday at Rice Stadium.
