HOUSTON -- Rice and Northwestern have moved the dates of their home-and-home, announced Wednesday afternoon.
The series, which originally saw the teams facing off in 2024 and 2025, will have the Owls hosting Northwestern on Sept. 8, 2029 before traveling to Evanston, Ill., on Sept. 6, 2031.
The teams have previously met seven times, with Rice holding a 4-3 advantage. They last met in 2011, with Northwestern picking up a 28-6 victory.
They are the first announced non-conference games for the 2029 and 2031 seasons.
