The Rice Owls will make their debut on beIN Network at 6 p.m. on October 12 when they host the UTSA Roadrunners at Rice Stadium. The broadcast was announced on Wednesday by Conference USA as part of its release of the 2016 preliminary television broadcast schedule for football.
Rice currently is scheduled with four appearances on television in 2016 with additional broadcast assignments to be determined. The Owls open the season with a pair of appearances on CBS Sports Network (September 1 at WKU and September 10 at Army) and return home to open the season against Baylor on ESPN.
