2008: Credited with his first carer sack vs. UTEP, good for a loss of nine yards ... also credited with a hurry against the Miners... Credited with a season-high seven tackles vs. North Texas... Made his return to the field with a start against SMU after missing the 2007 season with an injury on the first play of the year... Credited with three tackles against the Mustangs and followed that up with five against Memphis... Added four tackles and a pass breakup at Vanderbilt.
2007: Tabbed as the starter at free safety after a strong spring and fall camp, but was hurt on the first play against Nicholls and lost for the year... Made the switch to KAT from FS in the spring and heads into fall camp as the starter.
2006: Valuable reserve in the defensive backfield who clinched the Owls first bowl berth since 1961 when he intercepted SMU's last gasp pass on 4th down with the Owls leading 31-27... Played in 11 games and made two starts at Spur... Credited 18 tackles on the season... Totaled a career-high eight tackles in a start at Tulane and added four more the following week vs. UAB.
2005: Played in eight games with two starts to earn his first letter... Had 15 tackles (eight primary) and one pass deflection (Navy) on the season... Had season-highs of four tackles at UAB and SMU.
High School -- 2004 graduate of Lamar High in Houston... Two-year letterman and starter for coach Tom Nolan... Two-time all-District 18-5A selection...
