Became a force on kickoff returns over the final three games of the season to move into the national rankings. Ranked third in C-USA and ninth in the country with a 29.06 yard average on 17 kickoff returns... Shattered the school record by totaling 261 yards on seven kickoff returns at Tulane in his first duty of the season... C-USA Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts... Fell nine yards shy of the conference single-game record... Total allowed the Owls to set a C-USA record with 344 total kickoff returns in the game... Opened the second half of the game with a 64-yard return, the longest by an Owl since Clint Hatfield returned on 78 yards in 2001... Finished the day with 264 all-purpose yards, the fifth-best total in school history, just one yard shy of Dicky Maegle's famous Cotton Bowl effort against Alabama in 1954 (TrevorCobb holds the record with 295)... Earned All C-USA Freshman honors (coaches and Rivals.com) after leading the Owls in rushing and scoring... first true freshman to lead the team in rushing since Trevor Cobb in 1989... Topped 100 yards for the first time in his career, rushing for 105 yards on 10 carries and a pair of touchdowns vs. Houston.... Joined with Tyler Smith to give the Owls a pair of 100-yard rushers in the same game for the first time bsince 2005... Finished with 11 rushing touchdowns this season, the most in C-USA by a freshman running back and fourth among all freshmen at the conclusion of the regular season... 11 rushing touchdowns were the most by an Owl since Ed Bailey ran for 12 in 2004... Ran for three short TDs vs. UTEP, his second, three-touchdown effort this year... The first Owl to have a pair of three-rushing TD games since Greg Henderson in 2004...
