Honors top walk-on in college football
Former walk-on player who has become a reliable reserve on both special teams and at linebacker throughout his four seasons.
Earned C-USA Football All-Academic honors in a vote of the league's SIDs.... Nominated for the Bulsworth Trophy, presented to the top walk-on player by the Springdale (Ark) Rotary Club... Finished the year with a career-high 25 tackles, four better than his previous best of 21 set in 2009... Second on the team with nine special teams tackles (seven of them on kickoffs)... Has 22 tackles in the last seven games... Credited with five stops in reserve work at Baylor... Picked up a pair of tackles in the opener at Texas.
