Heads into his first spring wiht the Owls after a productive initial campaign in 2012.

Signed with Rice in the summer and was not able to participate in summer conditioning... Joined the team at the start of camp and immediately worked into the rotation... Made one start (Louisiana Tech) and was credited with a season-high three tackles... Matched that total the following week vs. Marshall... Credited with his first career TFL at Tulane (two yards).

Played at Blinn JC and credited with 37 tackles (17 solo), five TFL (1 sack) and led the team with a pair of interceptions.
