2008: Tied for third on the team with five tackles for loss, which have come in the last six games... Had two career tackles for loss coming into this season... Credited with his first two career sacks vs. Southern Miss... Has a career-best 14 tackles this season.

2007:Made his first career start at Texas and was credited with a tackle for loss.... Moved into the playing rotation when Will Moss was injured prior to the Nicholls game....credited with his first career assist against the Colonels... Credited with a career-high two tackles, including his first tackle for loss (six yards) against Texas Tech... Credited with his second tackle for loss (two yards) at Texas.

2006: Returned to play in the first two games after missing all of 2005 with an injury ... Saw action against Texas and Army... Member of the Student Owl Club.

2005: Missed the season because of injury.

2004: Redshirt.

High School -- 2004 graduate of Cypress Creek High in northwest Houston... Three-year letterman and two-year starter for coach Greg McCaig... Two-time all-District 16-5A... Team captain... Led the Cougars in sacks as a senior... Had 125 tackles for his career, including 20 for loss and 11 sacks... Competed in the field events for Cy Creek's track team, qualifying for the regional meet in the shot put... Also played golf in high school... Who's Who Among High School Athletes...
