2012 Challenge Game

The Rice Football team once again hosted members of the Challenger Football organization at Rice Stadium

Former walk-on who has been a standout on special teams as well as part of the linebacking rotation.

Productive member of the Owls' special teams who also chipped in valuable time at linebacker... Tied for special teams lead with five tackles as part of a career-best 16 tackles on the season... Tied for the team lead with a pair of fumble recoveries... Set up the Owls' first TD vs. Houston by recovering a fumbled punt return... Matched his previous career total of four tackles in a pair of games (Louisiana Tech and Houston)... Credited with his first career sack vs. UCLA and added a second at Memphis... Active in the community and was honored as Rice's Fall Spirit of Service Award winner.

Missed the final three games with an injury... Returned a fumble kickoff return 17 yards for a touchdown at Southern Miss... Return was one of four by the Owls on the year to lead the nation...
