Scored the clinching touchdown in the Owls' Homecoming win over UTEP, grabbing a 23-yarder from Nick Fanuzzi... Finished the day with three catches for 34 yards... Returned to action vs. Tulsa after missing three games with an injury sustained at Baylor... Caught a season-long 42 yarder at Baylor to set up the Owls first score... Had four career catches of better than 35 yards... Grabbed a career-best four passes in the opener at Texas and followed that up with three for 42 yards in the home opener vs. Purdue.
Produced some long distance plays in his first full year at wide receiver before an injury in the Houston game ended his season... Had started two of the last three games before his injury... Tied for second on the team with a pair of plays from scrimmage of 40-yard or longer (Sam McGuffie 3, Kitchens and Vance McDonald 2 each). Recorded a career-best 64 yards receiving vs. Houston, including a career-long 59-yard TD pass from Nick Fanuzzi... Made his first career start vs. SMU and grabbed a career-best three passes... Caught his first career touchdown pass against Texas, plucking a deflected ball out of the air and dragging a Horn defender to the goal line to complete a 47-yard scoring play.

Saw action in three games on special teams and defense, then made the move to wide receiver prior to the Vanderbilt game.
