Closed out a solid second year as a starter by picking off a pass in the C-USA Championship game vs. Marshall... Third on team with 59 tackles and seven pass breakups... Picked off his first pass of 2013 vs. Tulsa and returned it 32 yards... Broke up a career-best four passes vs. Houston.
Made the last 12 starts at free safety after Corey Frazier was injured and responded with 79 tackles to finish third on the team and 34th in Conference USA... Second on tied for sixth in C-USA with three forced fumbles... Credited with a career-best 11 tackles in his first career start at Kansas including 1.5 TFL... Credited with 10 tackles, including a career-best nine unassisted the following week at Louisiana Tech, while also forcing a pair of fumbles... Picked off passes in back-to-back games vs. Tulsa and Southern Miss... Broke-up a pair of passes at UTEP in the regular season finale and finished the year with eight tackles (one for loss) and a pass break up vs. Air Force in the Armed Forces Bowl.
