Former walk-on punter who took over the starting role in 2013 and enters his senior year primed for postseson honors... Starts season on both the Ray Guy and CFPA watch lists... Academic All-Conference USA selection in 2014 and on the Wuerffel Trophy Watch List in 2015 for his community work...Three-time member of C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Ray Guy Award candidate in 2014 who handled kicking duties for six games as well... Had three punts of better than 50 yards vs. UTEP and had a career-high 13 punts of 50 yards or better in 2014... Made his debut as a kicker in the Southern Miss game, knocking through both attempts as well as all five PATs... Converted all 25 PAT attempts and 8-11 field goal attempts... Averaged 48.2 on five punts in the opener at Notre Dame, including a career-best effort of 67 yards.
Placed three of four punts vs. Marshall inside the 10 while averaging a season-best 49.2... Averaged 44.5 on a pair of late punts with Tulane trailing just 17-13 to hold off the Green Wave's final challenge... Last effort was downed at Tulane 3 with just 2:13 left... Walk-on who took over punting chores in the opener at Texas A&M, averaging 42.5 yards on four punts, with three touchbacks and a long of 51.
Back-up to Chris Boswell who made his debut on special teams vs. Houston and attempted his first career PAT vs. Air Force.

Churchill High School
2011 graduate of Churchill High School... All-District 26-5A as a senior for coach Glenn Hill as a safety and punter for the Chargers... Earned second-team All-San Antonio honors... Had 65 tackles as a senior, five for loss, forced one fumble, recovered three others and had one interception... Returned his lone interception for an 87-yard touchdown to earn San Antonio "Play of the Week" accolades... Forced 29 touchbacks on kickoffs and averaged 40 yards per punt... Earned Academic All District and All State honors and graduated Summa Cum Laude... Served on the Churchill High Parliament, a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society... Elected senior class Vice President as a senior.
