Versatile and rugged leader on the Owls offensive front wall who completed his career with 41 career starts... Preseason second-team All C-USA pick by Athlon.

2011
Third team All C-USA pick by Phile Steele...Despite a preseason injury that nagged him all season, Hicks started all 12 games as a senior and 41 in his career ... Start in the finale at SMU was his 16th consecutive at left tackle... Also had 12 career starts at RT, seven at RG, and 6 at LG.

2010
Named the Owls top offensive lineman after earning All C-USA honorable mention honors from league coaches for the second straight year... Made his 30th career start for the Owls vs. UAB and his fifth straight at left tackle... Began the year with five starts at left guard, then moved to right tackle against UTEP.

2009
Battled through injuries in the middle of the year to come back strong and earn All C-USA honorable mention honors from the league's coaches in 2009... Returned to the lineup at SMU after missing five games because of an injury sustained at Oklahoma State....Had started 12 consecutive games on the line (nine at right tackle, three at right guard) . Worked as the starter at left guard in the spring then flipped to the right side in fall camp and made his first start at guard in the opener at UAB..

2008
Redshirt freshman who started 10 games, including nine in a row, at right tackle... Made his collegiate debut in the opener against SMU and his starting debut at Vanderbilt... Entered the starting lineup to stay vs. North Texas... Owls averaged 50 yards more per game rushing over the last eight games (111 yards in the first four, 158 over the last nine)... Owls were 8-1 over the last nine games.

Unanimous all-District 18-4A and all Montgomery County selection for coach John Bolfing, helping the Bears to their first playoff victory since 1989... Teammate of fellow Owl Xavier Webb in high school... Selected to play in the Texas High School Coaches Association All-Star Game... Earned honorable mention honors as a junior... Also lettered in powerlifting and track and earned a bronze medal in the regional meet as a junior with a discus throw of 154 feet... First team academic all-district... Enjoys the martial arts and also plays the guitar and cello.
