2006: Switched to defensive back after starting his career at running back... Opened the year in a reserve role and broke up a pass against Houston... Started against Army and Tulane when Brandon King was injured... Top tackle effort was a career-best five stops against the Green Wave... Also made three stops against Army.
2005: Played in eight games as a resrve defensive back to earn his first letter... Had one primary tackle on the season in the season opener at UCLA.
2004: Played in eight games (no starts) but did not letter... Gained 11 yards on four carries on the season, all coming in the win over SMU... Had a long-gain of nine yards against the Mustangs.
Other Rice Athletics: Competed for the Owls in the sprints during the 2006 outdoor track season...Had best times of 11.20 in the 100 meters and 22.26 in the 200 meters, and ran a leg on the Owls' best 4x100-meter relay team (41.58).
