Hard-hitting senior was one of the leaders on special teams before an injury on the opening kickoff against Houston ended his career.
Was leading the team with seven special teams tackles, four on kickoffs and three on punts at the time of his injury... Saw his first action at linebacker against Texas and was credited with six tackles.
Closed out the year with 12 tackles in the last two games, including a season-high seven at Houston. Caused a pair of crucial fumbles in the Owls win vs. UTEP... Forced on on a kickoff in the second quarter to set up a field goal and then knocked the ball away from the Miner's Donald Buckram at the Rice 3-yard line with 5:02 to go and the Owls up 30-29 to force a touchback... Credited with five stops vs. Tulane after missing the SMU game with an injury... Credited with a season-high six tackles at ECU... Returned to action against Navy after missing three games with an injury... Credited with a pair of assists in the opener at UAB., but suffered an injury vs. Texas Tech.
