Spring Football 2012 First Scrimmage

The Owls held their first scrimmage of their 2012 Spring Drills on March 16.

Rice
One of the Owls leaders at corner whose season came to a premature end in 2011...Granted a medical harship waiver by C-USA and will be a junior again this fall.

2011
Made three starts before sustaining an injury at Southern Miss... Credited with a pair of tackles, including one for a loss and broke up a pass in the home opener vs. Purdue... Picked up his second career sack, as well as five tackles and a pass breakup in the opener at Texas.

2010
Won the Jess Neely Defensive Award for defensive backs after placing third on the team with 64 tackles... Broke up six passes, including one in each of the last four games... Returned to the starting lineup at Tulsa and was credited with eight tackles and also blocked a PAT... Matched his career high with a pair of pass breakups vs. UTEP... Scored his first career touchdown, recovering a fumbled punt return in the end zone vs. SMU... Credited with nine tackles as well as his first sack and forced fumble against Northwestern...
