Veteran of the Owls quarterbacking crew who took over as the starter in the final four games of his senior year and led the Owls to a 2-2 finish while continuing to move up the Rice career charts.
Most accurate passer in school history and moved into the top five in most of the Owls career lists (see chart)... Smashed his previous career bests while sparking the Owls to a 41-37 Homecoming win over UTEP in his first start of the season... Became the third Owl to throw for 400 yards in a game and his 405 yards were the fourth best in school history....
