2007: Started the first four games before he was sidelined with an injury.... One of five game captains vs. Texas Tech... was second to Scott Solomon among the
down linemen with 12 tackles in the first
four games... forced a fumble against Texas.
2006: Opened the season on the defensive line against UH, but moved to the inside linebacker slot to start three games before his season was cut short by an injury... Broke up a pass and was credited with a sack against the Cougars... Credited with seven tackles when he made the move to start at linebacker against UCLA... Picked up his second sack of the year against Texas....missed the Florida State, Army and Tulane games, before returning to face UAB in his final game of the year. Honored with the Billy Ed Daniels Award at the Owls banquet in April, in recognition of his spirited team leadership, even while unable to take the field
2005: Saw action in eight games with one start (SMU) to earn his first letter... Academic all-Conference USA selection... Had eight tackles (five primary), including 2.5 tackles for five yards in losses... Had two of the TFLs in the season opener at UCLA, including his first career sack... Also had two tackles at Texas and UAB for his season high.

Named all-southwest Texas as a defensive end and as a tight end as a senior... District 30-2A's defensive MVP and a first-team all-district selection at tight end... Also a two-way all-league pick as a junior, and the district's defensive newcomer of the year as a sophomore... Had 72 tackles with eight sacks on defense, and three catches for 112 yards and two touchdowns as a senior... Led the Tigers to a 10-1 record and the District 30-2A championship...
