Shook off an injury during training camp to take control of a starting spot at guard and started the last 12 games... Originally ticketed to contend for openings on the defensive line, but injuries on the offensive side dictated a move to guard... Injured during camp and was held out of the opener vs. UCLA and then moved in as the starter.

2011-
Credited with his first career tackle at Northwestern... Appeared in all 12 games as a reserve on the defensive front wall... Made his debut against Texas in the opener.

2010-
Redshirted as a true freshman.
