2007: Started 25 consecutive games at offensive tackle. ... Made seven starts at left tackle and then the last five on the right side... One of four game captains for the Nicholls game. Made

2006: Started all 13 games, earning Honorable Mention All C-USA by the league's coaches... Highlight moment of the year came late in the UAB game when he recovered a fumble by Kris Guyton with 19 seconds left at the UAB 18 after Guyton had apparently thwarted the Owls last-gasp drive with an interception... Two plays later, Chase Clement hit Jarett Dillard with a TD pass with three seconds left to give the Owls the win... Barber was awarded a game ball for his recovery.... Honors candidate for his work in the classroom as well, posting a 3.47 GPA in Kinesiology and Managerial Studies... Named one of two Rice Scholar-Athletes for Football ... Football representative on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and a member of the Student Owl Club.

2005: Played in 10 games as a reserve on the offensive line to earn his first letter... Academic all-Conference USA selection.

2004: Did not play.

2003: Redshirt.

High School -- 2003 graduate of Coronado High in Lubbock... All-District 2-5A and all-South Plains lineman for coach Butch Henderson... Earned all-city honors for the Mustangs... Led the team to a 6-6 record and Division I regional semifinals as a senior tackle in 2002... Also helped the Mustangs to a 7-4 ledger and bi-district playoff appearance as junior... Also won academic all-state honors... Member of the National Honor Society and Who's Who Among American High School Students... Active leader in Coronado's chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes... Participated in the school's music program, earning a number-one rating in solo and ensemble.
