Named by teammates as one of two captains for the season (Matt Simonette)... Tied for team lead with six tackles in the opener at Notre Dame... Credited with a season-high eight tackles at Army...Has broken up a pair of passes to match his career high..Serves as a Rice Ambassador as well as the host of "Inside Rice University" a show produced by Rice Public Affairs.

Credited with a career-high 2.5 TFL... Missed career-best tackle effort by one, finishing with eight vs. Texas A&M... Wore No. 40 to honor former Owl Bucky Allshouse... Served on the search committee for Rice's new Director of Athletics.
