Teamed with Cameron Nwosu to give the Owls a potent tandem at linebacker, starting all 12 games together and combining for 205 tackles.

2011
Just missed giving the Owls their first pair of 100-tackle LBs, finishing with 97... Last pair do to so were Wayne Harpold (136)and Richard Gray (127) in 1982... Also second on the team with 10.5 TFL, the most by a Rice LB since Brian Raines had 12.5 in 2006... Had at least one TFL in eight of 12 games... Blocked Purdue's attempted game-winning field goal as time ran out to clinch the Owls' 24-22 win... Credited with his third double-digit tackle total with 10 at Marshall, including two TFL, including his first solo sack... Credited with a pair of quarterback hurries against Memphis... Matched his career-high with 12 tackles at Southern Miss.. .Was credited with 10 tackles, including sharing a sack... Credited with eight tackles, including one for a loss, in the opener at Texas.

2010
Moved into a productive role for the Owls after sitting out a transfer year in 2009... Started the last three games and finished fourth on the team with 61 tackles.... Credited with a career-high 11 solo tackles, while matching his career high for total tackles (12) in his first start for the Owls, on 11/13 at Tulane... Has been credited with at least four tackles in seven of 10 games... Credited with a career-best two breakups, along with five tackles against Houston... Picked up eight tackles, including one for a two-yard loss vs. Northwestern.

2008 (Idaho)
Starting linebacker for the Vandals and finished third on the team with 68 tackles ... also had three tackles for loss, one sack, recovered one fumble and had one interception.

2007 (Idaho)
Came to Idaho as a highly touted linebacker from Cedar Park High School ... as a true freshman, he found his way to the field on special teams and as a reserve to a veteran linebacking corps ... tallied seven total tackles for the season with highs of two against Fresno State, Louisiana Tech and Boise State ... also recovered one fumble ... Elite Eleven award winner.
