HOUSTON — Seven men’s basketball games have been selected by four networks to be broadcast during the 2017-18 season.
The November 22 game against either Mississippi or Utah in the MGM Grand Main Event will be televised. The consolation game will be broadcast on ESPNU at 5 p.m. while the championship game will be on ESPN2 at 7:30 p.m.
Rice will face New Mexico on December 19 at 6 p.m. on AT&T Sportsnet/ROOT Sports. The Owls game at Middle Tennessee will be televised by Stadium on February 8 at 6:30 p.m.
The Owls will also have four games live streamed by ESPN3, beginning with their December 9 game at Stephen F. Austin at 2 p.m. Rice will also have conference matchups live streamed at North Texas (Feb. 3) and against WKU (Feb. 17) and its regular season finale versus UTSA (Mar. 3).
The Conference USA Championship quarterfinals will be televised by Stadium on Mar. 8 while the semifinals (Mar. 9) and championship (Mar. 10) will be televised by CBS Sports Network.
Conference USA's national television partners are CBS Sports Network, Stadium and beIN SPORTS for regular season games. Games on ESPN3 will be streamed on its national platform. Additional coverage of C-USA basketball will also be available online through CUSA TV, available exclusively on the league’s official website www.ConferenceUSA.com.
Rice opens the season November 4 when it hosts Wayland Baptist at 7 p.m. in an exhibition game. The regular season begins November 10 against Eastern Kentucky at 7 p.m.
