2007-08: Finished senior season as Rice's leading scorer, averaging 11.3 points per game to go along with 5.2 rebounds ... played in 29 games as a senior, starting 26 ... saw action in 120 career games which ties for third all-time at Rice ... at one point in Conference USA play, scored in double figures five straight games and closed out his career with double-digit scoring games in eight of the team's final nine contests ... registered an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double against UAB in February ... in final week of the regular season, was 14-of-18 from the field and knocked down 12-of-15 free throws in a 40-point, career-high against East Carolina ... game was the first 40-point game at Rice since January of 2007 ... game also represented the 26th 40-point game in NCAA Division I during the season but only the second in which a player did not make a three-pointer.

Prior to 2008 C-USA Play: Scored 14 points in back-to-back games at the University of Iowa's Hawkeye Challenge ... also averaged 8.5 rebounds en route to being named to the all-tournament team in Iowa City ... in win over Eastern Illinois was 5-for-7 from the field and knocked down all four of his free throw attempts ... also had eight rebounds against EIU ... poured in what was then a career-high 24 points in the Owls' 88-81 win over Texas State ... half of his points came at the free throw line where he was 12-of-14 ... also connected on 6-of-9 shots from the field ... missed the first Conference USA game of the season against Marshall after hyper-extending his left knee in the Owls' game at Oklahoma.

2006-07: Played in all 32 contests with 19 starts... Posted seasonhigh 10 rebounds vs. UT-Permian Basin... Scored season-high 13 points vs. Houston and also scored 10 points vs. Belmont, East Carolina, and SMU. Grabbed eight rebounds vs. Oregon and seven at East Carolina and at Houston... Scored single-season high 163 points.

2005-06: Played in all 28 games with 24 starts... Scored 11 points in a career-high 51 minutes in triple-overtime win vs. Utah... Tallied 16 points vs. Yale with a career-high five steals... Registered first career double-double with career-high points (17) and rebounds (14) vs. Houston and had 12 points and 12 boards in second game with UH... Also had 10 rebounds and six points at SMU... Averaged career-high 5.5 boards and 5.6 points.

High School: 2004 graduate of Southwest High School, where he started three years for coach Darin Kasper... Led the Dragons to a 30-6 record his senior season by averaging 17.0 ppg, 7.0 rpg, and shooting 55 percent from the field... As a senior earned second team all-state class 5A, first team Region IV Class 5A, first team all-district, Express-News Great San Antonio Super Team, TABC All-Star Game, and EZ Lone Star All-Star team... Named team MVP as senior as well as being voted Most Outstanding Male Athlete at Southwest H.S... Team won the NEISD Tournament and the SAISD Tournament, where he was all-tournament and tournament MVP respectively... As a junior earned second team Region IV Class 5A, co-district MVP and team MVP... Express-News Great San Antonio Super Team and first team all-district... During his sophomore season, he was second team all-district and team MVP... Cibolo Creek Classic MVP... All-academic team and all-tournament NEISD... As a freshman he was on the New Comers All-District team and the all-academic team.
