Season tickets for the 2018 edition of Rice Owls Baseball are now on sale online through the Athletics Ticket Office.
Rice Baseball season tickets for a challenging slate of 29 regular season home games are available in all sections of Reckling Park and start as low as $125. The Owls’ 2018 home-opener is set for Feb. 20 against longtime foe Texas State. This season Rice hosts powerhouse teams TCU, Texas A&M, Houston and Sam Houston State, all of which competed in the 2017 NCAA Tournament. Rice also welcomes Houston Baptist, Gonzaga, Columbia and Lamar for non-conference games at Reckling Park. The home Conference USA slate includes Florida Atlantic, Old Dominion, Charlotte, UAB and Western Kentucky.
There are unique benefits to being a Rice Baseball season ticket member. Some of the benefits include a preseason batting practice with the team, a chance to be recognized as season ticket member of the game, one free-game voucher and priority on purchasing postseason tickets – to name just a few.
The Owls are under the direction of head coach Wayne Graham, who is in his 27th season at the helm of the program in 2018. Rice returns three offensive starters in the batting order and more than a dozen veteran pitchers who helped the 2017 squad win the C-USA tournament title and earn 23rd-straight trip to a NCAA regional. Nine of the 11 newcomers on the team are freshmen from the high school ranks and two new players are joining the Owls as transfers.
