A host of former Owl players reunited for the program's biennial Baseball Alumni Day Saturday (Nov. 2) at Reckling Park. Rice head coach Wayne Graham welcomed back lettermen from as early as the 1940s. Before the alumni took the field for a friendly game, a moment of silence was held for for former head coach Doug Osburn who passed away last month.
Owl great Tyler Henley (2005-2007) showed he still has it with big home run in the game. The families and fans in attendance held their breath when it looked like "The Gritman" may have pulled a hamstring - but all was fine. A great time was had by these special Owls. Check out the below video.
