IRVING, Tex. - Rice's Austin Orewiler has been named a Conference USA Baseball co-Pitcher of the Week for April 13-19, the league office announced Monday (April. 20) from its headquarters in Irving, Texas.
Stephens shared the league's Pitcher of the Week honor with UTSA's Chance Kirby. Western Kentucky's Anderson Miller was named the C-USA Hitter of the Week.

Kirby pitched the first complete game of his career in only his third start, leading the Roadrunners to a 7-1 win at Rice on Sunday. He struck out a career-high nine batters and did not allow a walk. Miller won the league's batting honor after reaching base 11 times, hitting home runs in three of four games and driving in nine runs for the Hilltoppers.
