Rice Baseball To Host Toy Drive

April 8, 2016

Family, Friends, and Rice Owl Fans,

The Rice baseball team is hosting a toy drive for the Children's Assessment Center on Sunday, April 17th during the game against Western Kentucky. We urge all Rice Owl fans to bring unused and unopened toys of any kind to the game at Reckling Park.

As an added bonus, for every toy that you bring you will be entered into a raffle where you would get the chance to win autographed baseballs from Lance Berkman, Andy Pettitte, and Wayne Graham. The more toys that you bring, the better your chances are at going home with one of these awesome prizes! If you are unable to go out and purchase toys to bring to the game, you can purchase raffle tickets at the ballpark. All proceeds will go toward the purchasing of more toys.

So come out Sunday, and bring as many toys as you can. A single toy can go a long way in bringing joy to a child. Donations will be taken inside the front gate from 12:00 pm until the 5th inning.

If you have any questions about the event please feel free to send an email to baf2@rice.edu. We're looking forward to seeing everyone out there! Go Owls!

Sincerely,

Blake Fox, Grayson Lewis, and Josh Pettitte
