Berry Named Most Outstanding Player of 2009 Houston College Classic

With junior right-hander Ryan Berry leading the way as the Most Outstanding Player of the 2009 Houston College Classic, three Owls were named to the All-Tournament team it was announced late Sunday night at Minute Maid Park.

Joining Berry on the 2009 All-Tournament honors list are junior pitcher Mike Ojala and sophomore outfielder Chad Mozingo. Rice had the best record (3-0) of any of the Classic's six participating teams. The full all-tournament team and their weekend statistics are listed below:
