Baseball FanFest Set For Feb. 11

The third-annual Rice Baseball Fanfest presented by Houston Methodist, where the public can get up close to the Owls' baseball program, is set for Sunday, February 11th from 1-3 PM at Reckling Park. This event is free to the public and parking will be located in lot 6, next to Reckling Park and behind Tudor Fieldhouse.

At this free event, fans will have a chance to hit in the Reckling Park batting cages, throw bullpen sessions and take tours of the stadium. Fans can take photos with and get the autographs of Owl players at the event as well. There are plenty of activities for the whole family which includes inflatables, face painting, photo op station and a prize wheel for your chance to win free Rice Owls gear and baseball tickets! Additionally, fans will be able to purchase game tickets at the event, and have the opportunity to preview open seats and pick their favorite on the spot.

All season tickets members will have the chance to take batting practice with former MLB great Andy Pettitte! Season ticket members also get the opportunity to get the first look at the new Roost and tour the Rice locker room. Additionally, all season ticket members receive a free Sammy bobblehead with purchase*. Season tickets are still available to reserve a spot in the batting practice.
