Rice -- 2012: Stepped-up with key relief performances all season long and proved to be one the staff's steadiest contributors... Moved into the closer's role late in the year and registered seven saves... Made a team-leading 36 pitching appearances, all out of the bullpen... Maintained an austere 1.93 ERA in 51.1 innings... Owls' finishing pitcher in a game 20 times, the most on the staff... Notched saves against NCAA Tournament teams UCF, Dallas Baptist and Prairie View...
