Strong, fast and talented outfielder... An experienced player with a Division I season under his belt... Set for a sensational senior year.

Rice -- 2009: NCAA All-Regional Team; Conference-USA All-Tournament Team; Rice University Honor Athlete; Selected in the 41st round of the major league draft by the Milwaukeee Brewers... Played in 60 of the team's 61 games with 57 starts, all in the outfield... Made 48 starts in centerfield and nine in left... Led C-USA with six triples, the most by an Owl since 2006... Had more triples than doubles until collecting his sixth two-bagger in the NCAA Regional against Kansas State... Finished fourth on the team in batting average (.324), hits (72), slugging percentage (.514) and home runs (8)... Caught fire the second half of the season, maintaining a .382 average and a .600 slugging percentage over his final 30 games...Batted .358 in conference and .438 (7-for-16) in the Owls' 4-0 run to the C-USA Tournament title...Hit .370 and scored eight runs in the seven NCAA Tournament games... At Weatherford College -- Played the 2007 and 2008 seasons at Weatherford College in north Texas... Coached by Jeff Lightfoot... 2008: Registered a sensational season at the plate to be named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference player of the year... Set new school records for batting average (.514), RBI (65), runs scored (53) and slugging percentage (.850)... Played in 40 of the team's 53 games... Tallied 72 hits, with 12 doubles, four triples and nine home runs in 140 at bats... Named to the regional tournament... Helped the Coyotes to a 36-17 record... Teammate of current Owl Trey Crain for one year... 2007: All-conference honoree in first season with the program.
