Navarro College - Played baseball at Navarro College in Corsicana, Tex., in 2010 and 2011... Helped lead the Bulldogs to the 2011 Junior College National Championship in Grand Junction, Colorado, and a final team record of 46-18... In the team's six-game JCWS title-run, he batted a steady 6-for-20 (.300) with a double and triple, seven runs scored and seven RBI... Solid defensive work at second base also played a key role in the national championship, highlighted by his .971 fielding percentage and starting or turning seven double plays throughout the six games... Batted .356 on the season with a .453 on-base percentage... Earned All-Texas Eastern Conference and All-Region XIV honors... Helped a 35-18 Bulldogs team advance to the Regional playoffs in 2010... Athletic family includes father who played college golf at East Texas State, an uncle (Johnny Greene) was a three-year football letterman at Baylor (1974-76), and another uncle (Richard Stringer) played baseball at Paris Junior College.
