High School -- A 2011 graduate of Plano High School... Named to the 2011 Dallas-Fort Worth All-Area team as a P/3B by the Dallas Morning News... Most Valuable Player of District 8-5A as a senior... Team MVP who helped lead the Wildcats to the program's first 30-win season (30-8)... Went 8-1 on the mound with a 2.40 ERA, and batted .442 with 25 RBI, to vault Plano to the Region I semifinals of the state playoffs...
