High School - A 2011 graduate of Klein High School in Spring, Tex.... First Team All-Greater Houston selection as a senior by the Houston Chronicle... Named the Player of the Year by Champions Area-Sun... First team all-state pitcher by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association (THSBCA) and second team all-state honoree by the Texas Sports Writers Association (TXSWA)... Two-time first team All-District 13-5A, earning the honor as a pitcher in 2011 and third baseman in 2010... Went 13-2 on the mound with 129 strikeouts and 1.17 ERA as a senior to lead the Bearkats to the finals of the state tournament... Also batted .375 to lead the team finish with a 31-11 record...
