High School - A 2012 graduate of The Woodlands High School, just north of Houston... Selected in the 22nd round of the major league draft by the San Diego Padres after an outstanding prep career... First team all-state pitcher by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association (THSBCA)... Montgomery County Pitcher of the Year and District 14-5A co-MVP as a senior in 2012... Went 9-1 on the mound with a 1.19 ERA and 93 strikeouts to help lead the Highlanders to the district championship... Two-year letterman and starter for coach Ron Eastman...
