Kim Koehn is in her sixth year as the director of baseball operations and her 11th year overall with the Rice athletic department.
Koehn is reponsible for the off-the-field operation of the baseball office. She coordinates all team and recruiting travel in addition to assisting with on-campus recruiting. Koehn also serves as the liason for visiting teams, campus affairs, and the RBI Club. She assists in fundraising efforts with the RBI club, and runs the Annual Longball Classic golf tournament.
Prior to joining the baseball program, Koehn served as the assistant director of marketing for two years. She assisted in corporate sponsorship attainment, game operations and promotions for all sports, and was the primary contact for marketing of Rice's women's sports.
As an undergraduate at Rice, the San Antonio native spent three years as the student intern in athletic marketing. She also served summers working with the 1998 Final Four, the 2004 Final Four bid committee and the 2007 Pan American Games bid committee for the San Antonio Sports Foundation.
Koehn is a 2000 graduate of Rice with a B.A. in sports management, and an associate at Brown College. She married Corey Koehn in October, 2006.
