Started on Opening Day against nationally-ranked Stanford and went 2-for-3 with a double... Tied for fourth on the team with 16 multiple-hit games... Became the third different Owl in as many years to post a team-best nine assists in a single game (in the finale vs. Stanford)... Turned or started 33 of the team's 52 double plays... Tallied a career-high five put outs against UAB and Texas State.

Helped the Buccaneers finish with a 32-8 record, reach the Region III semifinals, and finish with a No. 10 state ranking as a senior... Batted .408 with six home runs... Played shortstop and pitched as a junior to help the Bucs reach the 2009 Region III finals... As a junior he hit .400 with six home runs, 12 doubles and 31 RBI and maintained a 1.73 ERA with two wins and two saves in 24.1 innings on the mound... Three-year starter for head coach Bobby Williams... Versatile athlete who also played varsity basketball for a year, averaging 12 points per game as a point guard.
