For many children in the Houston area, attending a college football game is not an option, it's simply a dream. Imagine their excitement when they walk in a large stadium and see a football game for the first time. With the pagentry that makes college athletics so unique - the bands, cheerleaders, mascots and fans - it is sure to be a memorable experience.

You can help realize this dream for hundreds of underprivileged children in the Houston area. By becoming a member of the Rice 100 Program, you will be granting an experience of a lifetime. Your contribution will facilitate the distribution of game-day tickets to various local charities and youth organizations in the Houston area for attending a Rice University football game in Rice Stadium. You also may choose to distribute the tickets to business colleagues, employees, or keep some for personal use.

Rice University and Rice Athletics have long been providers of outreach activities to help those less fortunate in our city. Each year, Rice student-athletes record countless hours of community service - efforts that include reading to children at local elementary schools, organizing food bank collections, visiting ill children in local hospitals and mentoring at-risk youth. Our student-athletes tell us their participation in these programs is one of their most rewarding experiences.
