Tailgate Owley, the official Rice Athletics tailgate area, is located directly east of Rice Stadium on the grass alongside Rice Stadium. At Tailgate Owley there is music, inflatatable games and face painting for the kids. This year Rice and Bud Light are teaming up to revamp the pregame fun, which will create an even more enjoyable gathering point for all fans before kickoff. Music will fill the air and the Beirgarten will offer Budweiser products and delicious catered food. Rice sponsors will also be on hand with a variety of activities and special offerings for specific games.

Also new this year, is "College Row". Each of Rice's residential colleges are invited to tailgate in their own tent. Students will be encouraged to decorate and conduct their own tailgate along College Row throughout the football season.

Tailgate Owley opens 3 hours prior to gametime. The area begins to shut down 15 minutes prior to kickoff and is closed at gametime. Bring your friends, co-workers, and guests for a great college football game-day experience!

You can also rent your own area for a private tailgate! Bring your friends, co-workers, and guests for a great college football experience. Download the 2012 Rice Tailgate Packages flier: 2012 Rice Tailgate Packages Get Acrobat Reader
