| Dawn Stuckey
Dawn Stuckey is the head athletic trainer at Rice University. Stuckey's primary coverage is with the women's basketball team, but has also covered women's soccer in the past few years.
Prior to coming to Rice. Stuckey was the assistant athletic trainer for three years at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas, working mainly with football, men's soccer and women's basketball.
Stuckey has also served as an intern athletic trainer with the Houston Comets (WNBA) in 2005 and for the Houston Rockets (NBA) in 2006 and 2007.
She also had served as the associate athletic trainer for two years before becoming the head athletic trainer. Dawn double majored in athletic training and biology from Newman University in Wichita, Kan., while working with a variety of sports teams including men's soccer, basketball, softball and baseball. She then earned her master's degree in health and kinesiology from the University of Texas at Tyler in Tyler, Texas, in 2005.
She is married to Daniel Stuckey, who is a teacher and football coach at Dawson High School in Pearland, Texas.
