Dawn Stuckey is in her ninth season with Rice Athletics and is currently the athletic trainer for women's soccer. She is also in her seventh season as Director of Insurance Management.

Prior to coming to Rice, Stuckey was the assistant athletic trainer for three years at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas, working mainly with football, men's soccer and women's basketball.

In addition, Stuckey has served as an intern athletic trainer with the Houston Comets (WNBA) in 2005 and for the Houston Rockets (NBA) in 2006 and 2007.

Dawn double majored in athletic training and biology from Newman University in Wichita, Kan., while working with a variety of sports teams including men's soccer, basketball, softball and baseball. She then earned her master's degree in health and kinesiology from the University of Texas at Tyler in Tyler, Texas, in 2005.

She is married to Daniel Stuckey, who is a teacher and football coach at Dawson High School. They reside in Pearland, Texas with their furry kids Rolo, Ralph, and Ronnie. Dawn enjoys volunteering at the Houston Humane Society and competing in triathlons in her spare time.
