Sr. Associate AD/Senior Woman Administrator

Stacy Mosely joined Rice Athletics in the fall of 2011 as senior associate athletic director/senior woman administrator.

Mosely has administrative oversight for five varsity sports (swimming; swimming; men's golf; volleyball; women's tennis and women's basketball) in addition to the Academic Advising, and student-athlete development offices. She serves as the liaison to the Office of Admissions as well as the Rice University Committee on Athletics (RUAC). As Rice's SWA, she has oversight of the Title IX Gender Equity committee and is a member of the NCAA Amateurism Cabinet.

Mosely came to Rice from Oakland University, located in Rochester, Mich., where she served as associate athletic director/internal operations and as the Golden Grizzlies' SWA for three years.

At Oakland, Mosely oversaw facility and event management operations along with direct oversight of baseball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's soccer, softball, volleyball, and women's tennis. Prior to her time at Oakland University, she worked for one year as the associate director of alumni programs at the University of Miami in Florida.

She previously worked 12 years at Northern Illinois University in various positions. She served, most recently, as an assistant athletic director in charge of marketing and promotions and worked four years as the assistant athletic director in charge of internal operations where she supervised baseball, men's soccer, women's gymnastics and golf. Mosely was the tournament director for the men's golf championship (2003) and women's gymnastics championship (2005) for the Mid-American Conference.

Mosely graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and human development in June 1993. She also earned her master's degree in sports management in May 1996. Stacy and her husband, Marquis, have a son, Dominic (5) and a daughter, Jacquelyn (2).
