Bryan Dean was named Director of Business Operations in July 2013 after serving in the role of Athletics Business Manager from 2012-13.
In his current role, his responsibilities include managing the day to day business operations, development gift reporting, and overseeing procurement for the Rice Athletic Department.
Prior to joining Rice, Dean worked with the Sugar Land Skeeters, where he was hired as one of their first employees. He was responsible for implementing the initial ticket operations system and reporting for season and single game ticket sales.
Dean was responsible for managing the retail department and coordinated purchasing. Dean is a member of the College Athletics Business Management Association (CABMA) and has served on the membership committee since 2012.
Dean holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management, with a minor in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
Bryan and his wife, Deborah, reside in Houston.
