Suzanne Boué returned to her alma mater as Assistant Athletics Director for Life Skills in July, 2008 until moving to a positoin in the Alumni Office in March of 2013.
Boué previously served in the role of Partner & Director, Client Services at Game Plan Management, Ltd. As co-founder of the athlete representation firm, she helped orchestrate off-field aspects of clients' careers including marketing, community and non-profit relations, public relations, career development and life skills.
Boué worked seven years for the Chicago Botanic Garden, moving into the position of director of visitor services and becoming the primary advocate for the overall visitor experience and customer service provided to nearly one million annual visitors.
Boué worked two years in the University of Michigan Athletic Department as a marketing and promotions representative (1992-94) and also worked one year as a marketing and community relations for the Chicago Cubs
With her hire, Boué's career comes full circle.
Boué is a 1991 cum laude graduate of Rice University, receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sports Management and Sports Medicine (Wiess College). While an undergraduate, she served as a student athletic trainer.
She also received M.S. in Sports Management from the University of Massachusetts in 1992.
Boué and her husband Adelqui have a son, Jason , and a daughter, Marisa.
