Rice Extends Relationship with IMG

Rice Athletics today announced a 10-year multimedia rights extension with IMG College. The new deal extends the relationship through 2026. IMG College has represented Rice’s multimedia rights since 2006.
“We appreciate the willingness of IMG College to think creatively about our partnership,” said Joe Karlgaard, Rice Director of Athletics, Recreation & Lifetime Fitness. “We’re confident this relationship will create significant value for Rice now and in the years to come.”
The extension includes a capital investment by IMG College to upgrade digital signage at Rice Stadium.
“We are proud to continue working alongside Rice University to elevate Owls Athletics both locally and nationally,” said Tim Pernetti, President, IMG College. “We look forward to many more years of partnership focused on growing the Owls brand and providing solutions to the Rice Athletics Department.”
IMG also represents the licensing, ticketing and seating rights for Rice Athletics.
