Mosely Selected To Serve on NCAA Division I Amateurism Cabinet

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Rice senior associate athletics director/senior woman administrator Stacy Mosely has been selected to serve as a member of the NCAA Division I Amateurism Cabinet, the organization announced from its headquarters in Indianapolis.
The Amateurism Cabinet along with the Academics Cabinet, and the Administration Cabinet have replaced the former Academics/Eligibility/Compliance Cabinet. This cabinet is responsible for all pre- and post-enrollment amateurism issues, including oversight of issues pertaining to the NCAA Eligibility Center, student-athlete likeness issues, and the relationship between college and professional athletes.
The Amateurism Cabinet reports to the Division I Leadership Council on policy issues and the Division I Legislative Council on legislative issues. The cabinet is comprised of 20 members.
Mosely is slated to serve a two-year appointment on the NCAA Amateurism Cabinet in addition to her Rice duties. She joined the Owls as the senior associate athletics director/senior woman administrator in the fall of 2011.
