History Lesson on UTEP's Memorial Gymnasium
Memorial Gym (capacity 5,200), which now houses the UTEP volleyball program, has a storied basketball history to it. The venue was the home of the Miners' men's basketball team for many years, including the 1966 NCAA Championship Team. The UTEP women's basketball team compiled a combined mark of 75-74 at the venue from the program's inception in 1974-75 through the conclusion of the 1990-91 season. The Miner women played a total of 35 games at the Don Haskins Center (then known as Special Events Center) during that timeframe, going 14-21. UTEP moved into the DHC full time for the start of the 1991-92 season.

Earlier this week, the senior members of Rice University's basketball team - Bryan Beasley, Suleiman Braimoh, Cory Pflieger and Trey Stanton - took a break from practices during spring break, to sit down and look back on their careers. Trey Stanton actually interviewed his three teammates and was later interviewed for this piece by Bryan Beasley.

Here's a video look at some of their memories as well as thoughts about their senior teammates and advice for the next generation of Rice Owls.
