The ideal situation for sports scheduling would be to have a schedule that is printed and announced one time -- and have it be set in stone the rest of the year. The fine print, however, says schedules are "subject to change."

Rice baseball has already had a few changes to its 2011 schedule from some earlier listings, including a home game at Reckling Park. Here are three recent changes to note. All start times listed are Central Time.

Feb. 23 road game at Texas State now 5 pm
Apr. 2 home game vs. Marshall now 1 pm
Apr. 10 road game at East Carolina now 9:30 am
