#2 As noted in our other response, I have to give you credit, my wording was poor but I had another player in mind, a player who was back in the news this past month. Will reveal the name I was looking for a bit later

#4 This was a bit of a trick question, but you have the right answer..... The trick part of the question is that Dial scored it AGAINST the Cowboys, while playing for Pittsburgh
Chuck,
Then the answer to #2 is Dickey Maegle, who played in the defensive backfield in 1961 (although the Cowboys spelled his name Moegle). He was listed as both a running back and defensive back but played almost exclusively in the defensive backfield. During his career, he made 28 interceptions as a DB.
Dickey was the answer we were looking for.
